Are your rugs washed and clean?
Absolutely. Latham Vintage Rugs prides itself on the quality of our rugs. As such, all rugs are professionally cleaned prior to shipping to our customers.
Do you have more information about the rugs and where they are sourced from?
Of course! All of our rugs are vintage, previously loved on items. They are hand-knotted, one of a kind items specifically sourced by Latham Vintage Rugs from Middle Eastern Countries. As such, each rug may be slightly worn, faded or have some inconsistent shapes and patterns. These characteristics are what we love most about these vintage rugs. Each rug has a rich history and they are now ready for their new home.
How should I care for my rug?
If that won't cut it, you can lightly vacuum but we do not recommend using strong rotating brushes, as that could damage your rug.
To spot clean a pesky stain, use a microfiber cloth or light bristle brush and hot water. If that still isn't doing the trick, add some baby shampoo or laundry detergent (make sure it is clear). Let it air dry. Most spots should come out easily.
If it needs more than a spot cleaning, seek out a professional. They should surely be able to help you.
